ABOUT THIS PROJECT

Araye Auloria is a conceptual cosmetics company. In this project I wanted to show my ability to create engaging yet simple packaging designs for a line of products.

I began by researching cosmetic designs using pinterest. After getting an idea for the look and feel of the packaging, I made some sketches in a notebook to figure out the label hierarchy. Once a direction was chosen, I went to the computer and created multiple concepts for the packaging, implementing different colors, effects and order for the text. I chose the one that worked best and expanded the concept across multiple product surfaces to solidify the products as a unit under the same company.
